A single material takes on double personalities through the use of both polished and brushed stainless steel surfaces in the Va Bene Cosi tabletop basket. German designer Konstantin Grcic's reinterprets the material through basic geometries, asymmetries, and clean cuts while still displaying the minimalist language of the designer.
Considered cuts are made with lasers to give precision edges and rhythm to the gently curved walls of the basket. Perfect as a tabletop centerpiece to display pieces of fruit, the combination of the basket's solids and voids create an interesting reflection and shadow.
