Prioritizing the coarse over the fine, this design choice diverges from the trend towards slim forms, opting instead for a light and ethereal feel. The design is structured around the most reassuring aspect of oversized furniture: simplicity. The minimalist and rugged frame is constructed from powder-coated aluminium tubing with an 80 mm diameter. This supports a seat cushion with a rounded profile, subtly hinting at the idea of an inflatable module. The backrest, shaped like a bold parenthesis, promises comfort. The overall effect is one of pleasing roundness, combining casual and lightweight aesthetics with natural appeal.
The seat consists of stress-resistant, flame-retardant polyurethane in varying densities, complemented by polyester fiber on a hardwood frame. The back is made of injected flame-retardant polyurethane foam and polyester fiber. The external backrest supports and legs are made from tubular steel, available in a chrome finish or powder coat, with transparent PVC glides. Note that the covers for the Pipe collection are not removable.
